Disclosure & editorial policy

How this site makes money, and the rules it follows

Plain answers about compensation, independence, and the name — the things a careful reader should want to know.

Compensation

highlevel.ai currently runs no paid recommendations, referral links, or sponsored content of any kind. Everything on this site is free to read and none of it requires buying anything.

For a period in 2026, this site referred readers to a paid AI-visibility service, TownPicked, under a disclosed referral relationship — if a reader became a customer, this site could receive compensation. That relationship ended in August 2026; the historical record is kept at what was TownPicked, but no active links or CTAs to it remain on the site. If highlevel.ai takes on a paid relationship again, it will be disclosed here and in the footer of every page, the same day.

Why the site publishes without a business model right now

The site’s editorial turn came from doing AI-visibility work by hand on three businesses we know first-hand and watching it produce customers. We publish the full do-it-yourself playbook, free, so nothing here has ever required buying anything to act on — that stays true whether or not the site is monetized.

Editorial rules

  • No pay-to-play coverage. Nobody can buy an article, a mention, or a recommendation on this site.
  • First-hand or labeled. Case studies are our own projects, reported as such. We don’t dress up secondhand anecdotes as experience.
  • No invented numbers. We’d rather publish a mechanism than a statistic we can’t stand behind.
  • Corrections are public. Errors get fixed in place. Write to corrections@highlevel.ai.
  • Recommendations can change. When the evidence moved, this site made a complete 180 and said so in public. That remains the policy.

About the name

“highlevel” describes this site’s editorial vantage point: the high-level, big-picture view of artificial intelligence. highlevel.ai is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by gohighlevel, and nothing on this site is an offer from or on behalf of any software vendor.

Advertising

This site currently runs no display advertising and no sponsored posts. If that ever changes, sponsored content will be labeled on the page where it appears.
